All products on this page are final sales. No change or cancellation will be made after order completion.

Meow-Black*, Retro-Black* and Start-Black* bezel are the ones with glitter.

Meow-Black, Retro-Black and Start-Black bezel don't have glitter.

Recommended combinations:
Anodized top + Anodized bottom
Spray-coated top + Spray-coated bottom
Spray-coated top + Anodized bottom

Due to differences in surface treatment techniques and coating thickness:
anodized top + spray-coated bottom is forbidden, and anodized bottom + spray-coated weight is not recommended. There will be a noticeable difference in texture among these combinations, and we do not accept returns initiated by customers solely based on dissatisfaction with this distinction.

Update: Due to a change in manufacturers, there will be some differences in the colors of the ice blue and golden cases compared to previous batches. Specifically, the ice blue will lean more towards a blue hue, while the gold will be slightly darker than the color in the previous batches.

Please note:
The product renders on this page are for reference only and may differ from the actual product color. Highly Recommend!

This is a great keyboard, I really enjoyed it a lot! Comes with everything you need, and it sounds amazing! This is a great keyboard, thanks qwertykeys, you guys do an amazing job! I put HMX caramel pudding switches in it, and if you want to do a build with those, I highly recommend this one!

Decent keyboard

I like the way the keys sound. I installed WS Morandi switches and GMK ZX keycaps and it thocks. It’s my second Qwerty keys keyboard and I am sure that it won’t be my last

I can’t believe I waited this long to purchase this keyboard but I’m glad I finally got it. It’s so cute and love how it sounds. Decided for an all purple build with the meow badge. I’m in love :) this is my third qk keyboard and I’m ready for more 🤭

Good, clacky build without foam

Foamless, hmx cloud, alu plate, abs keycap, very very clack! Excellent!

Nice Navy

This was built for a friend, but the keycaps were her doing. Easy to build like the v2 classic, but be careful not to break the case clips. The navy case is a beaut.

Super fun build

Nice high quality material, great ****-less design with just slight learning curve on fastening the top and bottom pieces, but over all nice to not have to unscrew anything. PVD is well done and light strip is bright. I wish there was a way to up the brightness on the LCD display but it is bright enough to see. Retro white top matches really well with KBDfans Resonance R2 keycaps.

QK65 v2 - Navy Anode Top and Golden Anode Bottom Brass Weight, ANSI

OVERALL (tl;dr): 4.25/5 - The QK65 v2 is still an excellent choice in the current enthusiast market. It's affordable enough to be easy on the wallet for a mid-sized tech spend, and priced fairly enough that the extra spend you could have saved is justified. It's enthusiast grade for the smart budget conscious user.

Review Context: I had the first QK65 that only came wired, and mine was also Navy anodized top and Golden Anode bottom.

BUILD QUALITY : 4.5/5 - build quality is generally like the old one: well thought through and seamless. Anode quality is great, but I found that the navy of the newer QK65 v2 is darker than the old one or perhaps has some hint of green to it. Strangely, the QK65 v2 gold bottom is lighter than the old QK65 gold bottom, and the old QK65 gold bottom's color is closer to the QK65 v2's brass weight color. Color aside, the feel of the top and bottom pieces are smooth, and the plastic(?) clasps that hold the top and bottom feel reliable when handled with care (extra clasps included). I also appreciate how visible the bottom is when facing the board as you type, unlike the original QK65 where the bottom half was only visible from the rear, which you can't see anyway when typing.

Unlike the original QK65, this board no longer has the tapered wedge-shaped silicon bottom piece that goes between the bottom half and the pcb. I think it works better this way, since it made the old one come out "always too muted" or "way too hollow" when you have it on/off respectively. The tolerances are also tighter between the pcb and the bottom part, (but enough not to cause a short when you opt without the bottom foam) and it's pretty neat considering the board sounds whole when you type on it as all elements are synced tight.

Also nice to have an option for 7u spacebar and split backspace (the original only let you do 6.25u and regular backspace).

Top-mount and gasket mount options are also pretty neat, I confess I've missed having keyboards that CAN do strict top mount since most premium/budget/budget-premium boards have some form of gasket mounting only. Nice to have an option for either, and nice to know that this can be done fairly easily because of the latch system for disassembling the top and bottom pieces.

The only concerning part for me is ribbon cable for the LCD badge in the top, since it literally just floats on the main PCB, so it makes for a "handle with extra care whenever your deal with the PCB". But after having set up the plate with the stabs and switches, it becomes less of a concern even when taking the top and bottom apart to do minor things like changing keycaps or fiddling with the foam on top and the bottom

Would have also been nice if their documentation for the build guide included a note for which screws to use for top mount, battery, etc, since there are like 3 different screws in their little zip lock for the screws.

BATTERY LIFE: n/a - I haven't used this long enough to review the battery yet, but if you're ordering from the Philippines, note that it might get flagged by the airlines during shipment, so expect potential delays as they try to deliver by sea once it arrives in the Philippines.

I do have one gripe: I wish the toggle for battery on/off was accessible from the top without having to remove keycaps, somehow. I understand that would have made the aesthetic look bad, but I believe in a future where this might be possible AND keep the aesthetic sleek. (mainly an issue since removing and reattaching keycaps make them loose over time AND if I were shutting this off a keycap puller isn't always handy.

FEATURES : 4/5 - I picked the V2 mainly for the tri-mode capability (wired/BT/2.4GHz), then RGB accent LED and Badge with LED 2nd. The bottom badge acting as a "2.4GHz dongle holder" is a nice touch as well.

The PCB is not VIA compatible (boo) but I understand the need to use QK Config because of the GIF support. My gripes with QK Config is it doesn't support LAYER-TAP functionality like QMK (ex. hold = layer, tap = specific key like capslock or home). Would have been nice to have instead of doing workarounds like putting capslock in a deeper layer etc.

The GIF functionality is fun but I would have liked to have more control over the MAIN display and more functionality for the customizable ones. In QK Config, you have special keys for cycling between displays (nice). Since this wasn't in documentation, here's the lowdown on the five displays:

MAIN - the default display contains information on WIN/MAC mode, battery life, date/time, and wired/BT/2.4GHz mode (through a pair of cat paws). This can't be customized.

Second - The "alt" display is a bunch of matrix-style vertical green "65V2" text trickling downwards. The "trickle speed" depends on how much typing you're doing. This can't be removed/customized (not an issue, but worth noting)

Custom 1/2/3 - three customizable displays you can configure via the QK Config app. You...
