The New Budget King

Front Design

The Neo60 Core features the unibody case design and ultra-slim side bezels. These design elements highlight the keycaps' texture while making the keyboard more compact and travel-friendly.

Side Design

Unlike the Neo Cu series, the Neo60 Core features a simple, clean side profile with an inward-sloping edge. This design complements the ultra-slim front bezels, creating a sleek, cohesive appearance while making the keyboard easier to lift.

Back Design

The Neo60 Core's back design features a larger weight compared to the Neo65, improving both weight balance and visual harmony with its screwless design.

The orbit logo from Neo65 has been carried over with a more practical function—it now serves as the cover plate for the USB dongle storage, elegantly combining aesthetics with functionality.

Lock-n-Pull Mechanism & Magnetic Connectors

Although the easy disassembly structure on the Neo65 was relatively convenient, dealing with the ribbon cable during assembly is still challenging. We've solved this by upgrading the Neo60 Core with magnetic connectors and introducing an innovative method for PCB and plate removal.

Every Neo60 Core Core comes with a specially designed tool. One end of this tool is a 3.5mm thick plate fork, helping you support the plate when installing switches to ensure proper installation, especially when building the keyboard without plate foam. The opposite end of the tool serves as a disassembly aid. When you want to disassemble the keyboard after building it, simply remove the keycaps above the disassembly slot, insert the tool, and pull the PCB and plate easily out from the case. This straightforward approach simplifies disassembly, making maintenance and customization effortless.

Dual-Mounting System

  • PCB Gasket Mount

For the Core series, a robust gasket mount structure is essential. We have optimized the gasket positioning in the Neo60 Core to deliver the best possible acoustic performance. Given that the gasket mounting points are located directly on the PCB, the Neo60 Core also supports a plateless build with a soldered PCB.

  • O-ring Mount

The Neo60 Core also features a gummy O-ring mount option. This setup firmly secures the PCB and plate while providing excellent sound sealing for the edge keys, creating a more consistent typing feedback and acoustics.

First 60% and I love it

Sound punches above it's weight class, love using the pp plate, the magnetic connector makes it simple to put together, and the variety of sounds you can get out of this board for the price is crazy.

Stunning keyboard! My first custom keyboard, easy to build !

Best sounding keyboard yet! But the included stabilizers suck!

Well this is definitely the best sounding keyboard I have currently. The including stabilizers are absolutely awful, but that's not the keyboard's fault. The stabilizers rattle so much that no amount of lube can make them stop. But once proper stabilizers are installed, the sound and feel of this board are absolutely heavenly!

The anodized case is flawless. The "Mirror Dusk" weight is gorgeous, though it is an absolute fingerprint magnet (it also scratches easily). The PCB is well thought out. Each socket is labeled on the underside, making it easy to locate the correct switch placement. Bluetooth pairing is quick and seamless. The board supports every VIA/QMK option I could ever want. Mod tap and layer tap functionality works fine over bluetooth, though you may need to slow down a little if you are consistently typing over 90 WPM. Between the accessories and the "free gifts" just about everything you could want is included.

The slim bezels to make it difficult to find a wrist rest that's the correct width. It would be nice if a wrist rest was also available. I had to cut down a standard 60% rest to get it the right size.

Pictured build is anodized grey with mirror dusk weight. Drop Jasmine DCX keycaps and a "custom" walnut wrist rest.

Neo60 Core

I love the Neo60 Core so much the dusk weight is so gorgeous the sound is great and but the O-ring only works with the stabs it comes with, I used TypePlus stabs and the Screw-In portion blocks the O-ring only complaint still a 5 star board

Big board with a small price!

Once it shipped it arrived quickly without issue. It was an absolute joy to build. Went with the O-ring mount, it’s anno grey gold w/ KKB Machinist on W1 Black Diamonds. Sounds, feels and looks absolutely fantastic. Punches wayyy above its price point. Best value/quality to price proposition for 60s out there! Can’t wait for my next Neo board, which is on the way!

Alright

The build quality and shipping was great, but it seems that the pcb has a faulty part where the key next to the right control doesn't work no matter what switch I use, Ive tried everything I can think of to no avail. Already sent a ticket.
