Essential Information Before Purchasing:
- The spray-coated White, Pink, Butter Yellow, and Red cases contain glitter.
- Per-key RGB lighting significantly increases power consumption, substantially reducing the keyboard's battery life in wireless modes. If you're not a big fan of per-key RGB, we strongly recommend choosing the non-RGB PCB for better battery performance.
- To improve the consistency of typing feedback, we've increased the leaf springs' stiffness on the QK80 Mk2. Consequently, its typing feel is not as soft as our other keyboard utilizing the same structure, such as the Vento or Jelly Evolv. We recommend checking review videos before purchasing to set realistic expectations for its typing performance.
- Please turn on the battery toggle (located underneath the Caps Lock keycap) first if you want to use the screen and dot-matrix LED. They will not work with the battery toggle turned off, even if you have plugged in a cable.
- All units purchased from this sale page come with two 4000 mAh batteries.
- To modify your QK80 Mk2 specifications, please don't adjust quantities in the shopping cart. Instead, return to the product page and add the new option to your shopping cart again.
- All PCBs utilize QK's custom VIA web configurator for keymapping and screen customization, as the original VIA software doesn't support advanced screen functions

Customizable Display
QK80 Mk2 features three built-in themes, allowing users to match their display with different keycaps. Users can also personalize the keyboard by customizing animations on both the screen and dot-matrix display, adding a unique touch to their device.
In addition to the themes, we've included a mini-game—"Flappy Bird"—in the display module. This allows you to take a quick break during your busy schedule. Other basic functions like setting the date and time, toggling RGB lighting, and adjusting sleep settings are also accessible on the screen.

Back Design
We have further refined the overall structure of the QK80 Mk2. By separating the battery compartment from the bottom case, we've preserved the integrity of the sound chamber, thereby enhancing the keyboard's acoustic performance.
The weight design for the QK80 Mk2 showcases our continued exploration on QK's second-generation design language. Building on our unique weight shape, we've added more personalized elements for the Mk2. The contrast between different surface color and texture create a more sophisticated back profile.
Dongle Pod With Magnetic Badge Cover
The badge on the back doubles as a cover for the USB dongle pod and a decorative element. It's magnetically attached to the bottom case, allowing for easy removal.
Leaf-spring Mount
The QK80 Mk2 features Leaf Spring mount and an effortless ball-catch easy disassembly system. This marks the first use of these two features in the QK series. We’ve also carefully designed the positioning of the leaf springs and the acoustic chamber in the bottom case to optimize both acoustic performance and typing feedback consistency.

QK80 Mk2 Custom Mechanical Keyboard
I definitely was not surprised for what this keyboard offered and brought to the table. Doing research before buying something does have its benefits; I really love everything about my keyboard and already getting people to build their own. I would 100% get more products from this company.
This is the my third time buying a QK80 MK2. The first time, I made some silly mistakes because it was my first build and had to repair it myself. The second time, a friend wanted one so I built it for him and although I didnt made any mistakes this time, I felt it couldve been a cleaner build. This third time I think Ive reached perfection with it. Everything looks so clean, so perfect, no weird sounds, completely uniform feel, like pressing a pillow but at the same time feeling the response. Such a great board and hope I get the chance to build it a fourth time and hope everyone finds pride after completing their builds.
This is my first custom keyboard, and I am well and truly obsessed with it and how it turned out. I was definitely nervous to build it, but the build guide was straightforward and it turned out incredibly. I used BSUN Fox linear switches and the POM plate with all included foams, and it sounds so marbly and beautiful! The product is such lovely quality and I hope to purchase another from QK in the future, maybe even the Alice Duo because it looks so incredible. Thank you again for making such a lovely product.
Looks great with my keycap set and I love the screen and Matrix LED.
Overall amazing. The screen really adds a lot to the keyboard. It was my first build and I enjoyed it very much. The only problem that I can find is that the corners of the pcb don't seem to be as supported as the rest of the keyboard. Also the included stabs absolutely need to be lubed, they don't bounce back up properly if not. I will mod both of these things to try and fix it. However the rest of the experience easily makes up for it.
My QK80 MK2 is everything I expected and more! Shipping was fast and packaging was great. The MKeeB itself is gorgeous! I have yet to build it but checked that the PCB and everything else works and it’s all working fantastically.
The features and guide/instructions make the building steps as accessible as possible — More outside research may be required for small details but it’s part of what makes this keyboard truly customizable! Premium in every way.
